SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY

     Anthony J. Peraica & Associates, Ltd. has concentrated heavily in Social Security Disability law over the past several years. Many people think that they are not eligible for disability benefits because they are not bedridden or confined to a wheel chair -- this is not true! Many disabilities (and even combinations of lesser ailments!) may entitle our clients to benefits under the Act and Rules. We know what they are, and most of our clients receive at least some form of benefit from the Social Security Administration. We can also represent disabled clients in the federal courts when they have been wrongfully denied benefits by the Social Security Administration.

     We believe that this is an area of the law in which the attorney can make the key difference between eligibility for generous benefits, and no benefits at all. Many clients are surprised when they finally receive their first check (often for tens of thousands of dollars), because they only expected to receive a few hundred dollars a months in benefits. We have successfully represented hundreds of disabled clients, and we are only "surprised" when claims are rejected, or when benefits are insubstantial.
